NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (E)

Indian Space Research Organization ISRO has completed the development of Synthetic Aperture Radar for its upcoming joint earth observation satellite mission with NASA. The mission is called NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar- or NISAR, and will be the first satellite mission to use two different radar frequencies called L-band and S-band to measure changes in the earth’s surface. The mission is expected to launch in 2022-23….from ISRO’s Satish Dhawan Space Center.
