polymer composites are also used in making bows for archery. Layers of Carbon fibre strips are laid on a flat surface and impregnated with epoxy resin and stacked. The stack is placed in a hydraulic press where the epoxy is cured and a carbon polymer composite is synthesised. Other carbon polymer composites are also made from carbon fibre fabric. These composites can be used as conductive composites for automotive applications.
