Technology for Long-Term Onion Storage (E)
Pune based ICAR- Directorate of Onion and Garlic Research has developed an innovative technique for onion storage. The technique allows the long-term storage of onions using the control onion storage structure based on the Internet of Things. This development will not only benefit onion growers in the country, but also help in controlling the prices of onions, as stocks of the vegetable can be maintained without them rotting.
