Recently, the Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh dedicated Indian Biological Data Center to the nation at the Regional Biotechnology Center, Faridabad, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology. It is India's first national repository to collect over 2 billion bases obtained from various research laboratories.
