India-Singapore Technology Summit - (E)

The 28th edition of the India-Singapore Technology Summit began on 23 February. The two-day conference, organized by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and the Confederation of Indian Industry, was addressed by the Union Minister of Science and Technology, and Earth Sciences, Dr Jitendra Singh. DST Secretary, Dr. S. Chandrashekhar led officers from participating departments of both countries. In his address, the Union Minister said that Singapore is India’s largest trading partner among all ASEAN countries, with around 9,000 Indian companies registered in Singapore and more than 440 Singaporean companies registered in India.
