Cold Weather Clothing System (E)
The Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) recently handed over technology for indigenous extreme cold weather clothing system (ECWCS) to five Indian companies. Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Chairperson, DRDO handed over this technology to the companies during a program held in New Delhi on December 27th. The Indian Army requires the ECWCS for its sustained operations in glaciers and Himalayan peaks.
