Biochemical Link Between Fatty Liver Disease & Type 2 Diabetes (E)
Indian researchers have found the biochemical relationship between non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and type-2 diabetes. The research work was conducted by a team led by Associate Professor Dr. Prosenjit Mondal of the School of Bio Science and Bioengineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi, in collaboration with other institutions. This research can also help in developing new tests, treatments, and diagnostic techniques for diabetes caused by fatty liver disease.
